xx.rough riders ranch The Rough Riders Ranch is the starting point of all beginner Rodeoers. It is a good place to start learning the ropes and get a good hold on the Rodeo life.
Circle Z Ranch is a quiet medium-sized operation specializing in Mustangs and Longhorns. Acres of pasture stretch over the land, with the heart of the ranch home to the arenas and the farmhouse.
Nestled on the outskirts of town, Peridot Sun Ranch is home to a breeder of fine Quarter horses, and American Pants horses, but you'll see many Angus cattle roaming around. The Ranch gives off a homey feeling with it's rolling hills and green pastures, welcoming any and all who decide to visit.
Located on a rugged stretch of untouched wilderness, Twisted Oak is a place reminiscent of the old cowboy days. Pale golden grasses surround the property as far as the eye can see and located in the distance, densely forested mountains flank the property protectively from both sides. It gives off an odd sense of mystique from a by-gone era and in some areas, it feels like you've stepped back in time. Longhorn and Brahma cattle are raised here as well as hound pups and a mixture of meat and colored deer.
xx. Bexar County Bexar is a rather small county, set near the major cattle lands in Texas. Almost every well know family had a cattle ranch and those who didn't made their living raising crops, owning stores or bars, or a restaurant.

xx. Twilight County Twilight County resides in the hill country of west Texas, near Bexar. The hilly country makes it a perfect place to raise horses or cattle although it's not really a good one for crops. xx. Amarillo County Amarillo County is set in the panhandle of Texas, near Oklahoma. It's also in Tornado Alley where every spring, summer and sometimes fall numerous twisters could come and tear up precious land and destroy lives and homes. It takes a tough cowboy or cowgirl to live in these areas where the upside was that the fertile land provides for all kinds of crops to grow although some do raise livestock in these parts. July 5th, 2009 --- We are Closed for a short time. Things are not going as I planned for the Rodeo, so I'm going to close the site and fix the mess that has been made. No fault of anyone but my own. Expect the site to be closed for a week, maybe more, but I'm not planning on shutting the site down. When it reopens, you can expect some work to do for yourself. That will be explained later in a major update. Also, expect the site to be in a new season.
Staff, I could use your help, but for some reason I'm just not seeing that happening. But if you want to help just ask.

Hot, hot, hot! Temperatures are high and the heat is going, but work still has to be done! Animals are in need of constant water, which means extra work for ranchers. Crops are suffering a bit from the heat, but farmers try to keep water systems running for thier plants survival. But still, the summer breezes cool the days and the heat just can't keep people from having fun.
The song "Rodeo" by Garth Brooks, which was the inspiration for the site, belongs soley to Garth Brooks.
